What we store
CortixPOS stores the data your shop enters so the app can work: products, stock levels, batches, suppliers, customers you choose to record, sales and returns, cash reconciliation records, and the staff accounts you create. We also store your account email, phone number and shop name.
Where it is stored
Sales are written to the device first so the app works offline, then synced to our hosted Postgres database. Each shop is a separate tenant, and tenant isolation is enforced by database row-level security rather than by application code alone — one shop cannot read another shop’s rows even if the app were modified.
AI features
AI insights are generated from your own shop records. Requests run server-side, so no model credentials are present on your device. Shop owners can turn AI off for the entire shop in settings. We do not use your shop data to train models.
Aggregate numbers on this website
The live counters on our home page are totals only — the number of active shops, promo seats claimed and sales recorded across all shops. They contain no shop names, customer details or individual transactions.
Payments
Plan upgrades are paid by Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer. We store the payment reference and the screenshot you submit for review. We never ask for, receive or store card numbers, CVVs or banking passwords.
Deleting your data
You can request deletion of your shop and all its records from inside the app. We action deletion requests manually so that an accidental request from a staff device cannot wipe a shop’s history. Downgrading to the Free plan never deletes anything.
