What it does
Built for a counter, not a spreadsheet
Every feature here came out of a real shop problem — a dead connection, an expired box found during audit, a till that was short and nobody knew why.
Sells with the internet down
Every sale is written to the device first. The app keeps billing through a load-shedding block or a dead connection, then syncs the queue when the link returns — no half-finished receipts.
Counter-speed checkout
Barcode scan, quantity, done. Search falls back to name and salt so a customer asking for a brand you do not stock still finds the equivalent on the shelf.
Batch and expiry, tracked properly
Stock is held per batch with manufacturing and expiry dates. Near-expiry stock surfaces before it becomes a write-off, and disposed batches stay on the record.
Reorder before you run out
Per-product minimum levels, low-stock alerts, and supplier-grouped purchase orders built from what actually sold rather than what you remember selling.
Cash that reconciles

Questions shop owners actually ask
Does CortixPOS work without internet?
Yes. The app is offline-first: sales, stock changes and returns are written to the device immediately and queued for sync. You can bill all day with no connection and the data uploads when you are back online.
What do the first 100 shops get?
The first 100 shops to sign up get the Pro plan free for 12 months — unlimited products, unlimited daily sales, multiple staff, batch expiry tracking, advanced reports and AI insights. No card is required and nothing auto-charges when the year ends.
Is my sales data private?
Each shop is a separate tenant and the database enforces that with row-level security, not just app code — one shop physically cannot read another's rows. The public counters on this page are aggregate totals only.
Which devices does it run on?
Android phones and tablets. A 10-inch tablet is the usual counter setup; a phone works for a single-person shop or for checking reports away from the shop.
Can I use it for a general retail shop, not a pharmacy?
Yes. Batch and expiry tracking is the pharmacy-specific part and you can ignore it. Billing, inventory, staff, cash reconciliation and reporting are the same for any retail counter.
How do I pay if I am in Pakistan?
Easypaisa, JazzCash or bank transfer. You send the payment and the reference, and the upgrade is applied after review — usually the same day.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. The account drops to the Free plan limits and your history stays readable and exportable. You can request full deletion from inside the app if you want the data gone.
